This is a bit late but i luv to dice up chicken and bacon and cook off. Then cook off some onion. And then about 2-3 eggs like an omellete and dice up. Then mix together with rice stir through peas and any other desired veg. Add soy sc for flavour

Yup just like that!

But I add 1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice, and a tsp of sesame oil too.

if you can find some dried chinese sausage (lup chuong) it's REALLY good in fried rice too!

Mines a throw together and full of vegies as i find the kids wont really eat the rice unless they see bits they like lol so thats why i put a few vegies in at least they will eat them.

Prepare rice accordingly
Dice bacon and onion and fry lightly with some seseme oil and oyster sauce, set aside
Mix 4 eggs with a little milk and cook omelette style set, cut roughly and set aside
The rest is all cut finely and thrown in together and cooked in the wok.
handful of mushroms, green capsicum (about half a one), handful of been shoots, carrot, peas, corn, broccoli and cauliflower. After this is cooked i throw the rice in till its cooked through enough then i put in the bacon onion and egg mix until its warmed through. I put a tiny amount of soy sauce in and mix it through. Usually i leave a little egg out and put it on top of the kids plates so it doesnt crumble too as they love their eggs.

Soo yummy, guess what i want for dinner tonite!

I make one with a packet spice base for flavour,it's called Nasi Goreng (the Conimex brand) ....usually in the Asian food aisle at Woolies....
Anyway you cook up some diced bacon, leek, leftover diced pork or chicken ,cooked egg cut into strips, and I usually throw in some prawns too, then add cooked rice and the spice base....mmmm yummo!
Best fried rice I've ever had.:)
