Just thought I would share this with you. I found a website the other week with an idea for Reindeer food. I can't find the link to share but basically:
Pour about 1/2 cup of uncooked oats in a ziplock bag. Add some glitter. Sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve.
Add a little note which says:
On Christmas Eve, sprinkle this wonderful Reindeer Food on your lawn or entrance to your house. The shiny glitter will sparkle in the moonlight and the smell of oats will guide Rudolph to your home".
I thought this was a nice idea for something different on Christmas Eve, sorry I can't find the link but I think this pretty much covers it.
Merry Christmas everyone :xmas:

Very cute. But remember you need to 'remove' some of it so take care if sprinkling it in the grass. ;)

Yes. I am thinking just outside the door would be a good idea then I can sweep it up with the dustpan but am going to still sprinkle some more glitter on the ground and leave some oat remains just so it looks authentic.

One of Miss 7's friends gave little bags of this out to all her classmates on the last day of school :)

If you want authenticity you should do what my BIL and SIL do - they put some sheep poop on the patio in a little pile near the carrot (which they nibble bits out of) and the oats!! Mind you they are on a farm so sheep poop is a little easier to obtain!
