Oh yeah watched it last night. My friend and I watch horrors together when we can, my husband hates them and so do my other friends. Anyway, he said it was the scariest movie ever ( he says that every time), I was a little disappointed.
I want to see boogyman, has anyone seen that?

Haven't heard that much about that one. I think horrors just aren't the same when your an adult. The new Amittyville horror I thought was quite good.
Boogeyman isn't really all that scary. It's got that dork from 7th Heaven. The eldest son. Anyway, I didn't think it was really all that scary.
Still haven't seen Wolf Creek. Can't wait though!! I haven't been to the movie store in AGES so will get my butt down there!!!
Wolf Creek is more of a thriller than a horror i think. I thought it was great but i am biased.:p (I know the main female actor, Cassandra Magrath.) There is no way that i will be travelling through the desert without a huge entourage of vehicles.

I really liked wolf creek....definately freaky, but nowhere near as much as it was made out to be thats for sure!
We just watched Wolf Creek the other day. I wasn't really expecting a scary movie but I did find it to be pretty disturbing.
John Jarrett played the perfect weirdo. That laugh sent chills down my spine.
Poor Mum was visitng and had to go out of the room for the last half.
Scary movied I can handle as long as it is light which I guess defeats the purpose :p I tend to cover my ears but keep watching which everyone thinks is hilarious but it's more the music and sudden noises that get me.

I swore that i would never watch "The sixth sense" again that scared the crap outa me!
Amittyville horror was very freaky Oh Texas chainsaw massacre the latest one... anything that has a true story behind it freaks me out....
Saw 1 & 2
Stir of echoes
Anything with dead scary kids in it... dunno why that just freaks me out...& i actually watched the special features on Amittyville horror...& they said that kids in horror movies tends to scare alot of people thats why it is used so much. i know there is alot that scare me i just cant think of them right now. Hey has anyone seen "Hostel"?

I am a HUGE horror movie buff!!
I saw Wolf Creek, it wasn't scary, but it was very very disturbing, there were parts where I had to turn away!!
The most all time scariest movie I have ever seen is 'The Grudge'! I want to watch it again, but I am too scared!! My DF was terrified of that movie too!! I had nightmares for days, and can't stand being alone at night!!
I haven't seen the Hostel, but it seems pretty scary - isn't it based on true events or something??

I saw Hostel the other day...its a gross out film, if your looking for suspense you'll b dissapointed. Its just pretty much all blood and guts...Still I liked it.
Hated Wolf Creek, freaked me out. Very disturbing.

The only movie that has ever freaked me out has been the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Especially when I read some of the details about the making of the movie and discovered that the only direction in the last part of it was the scare the c**p out of the blonde girl, so everything they were doing in that last few scenes was real.
Oh and clown movies but I still willingly watch them because I am scared of clowns
I saw Hostel last week and I think that kicks butt over any horror I have seen.
Unfortunatley the story line is quite poor but if you like to be grossed out then this is for you.
I am a big Quentin Tarantino fan. I must say he outdid himself in this flick. No holding back with the visuals :barf:
I love a good horror though. Blade 1, 2 and 3 are my fave at the moment. Underworld was good too and I liked 13 Ghosts. DH and I had a horror movie-fest.

There are some good ones for me to try. I am so bummed because my hubby hates horrors and I love them, so I very rarely get to watch them. Maybe we should get all the horror movie fans together one day for a movie fest. Sorry, I'm desperate aren't I.

Charlie, i'm with you - i love vampire flicks!! Underworld was fab and the sequel even better i think! I love Blade, but the sequels afterwards were terrible.
I have to say though - after all these years, even someone mentioning The Exorcist makes me shudder...i first saw it late in my teens and my wrists were actually sweating !! Didnt even know they really could sweat! I had a light on for two weeks after as well, how EMBARRASING is that?!
A twelve year old girl talking such sexually revolting things just freaked the living daylights out of me..then i saw a special on the making and they said at least one person in each matinee of The Exorcist when it opened fainted! Others needed therapy, glad thats not me :(

I didn't really like the remake and DP who is a horror movie fanatic fell asleep watching it. I don't know what it was about the original but it had an extra creep out factor that always makes me sleep with the light on!
get out death tunnel and also the true documentary to it spooked , it is a documentary (spooked) but it is all true photos facts etc

My DH got Wolf Creek (somehow on DVD) and we watched last week - I say we cos I stopped watching 1st when they woke up...tried to watch again when my DH assured me it wouldn't be any more awful and then ran out crying and feeling positively sick agian 5 mins later...I am so glad we didn't go to the movies cos it would have been embarassing...
I have been told I am a scaredy cat by my DH and his aunt who also watched it but what worries me is that people can watch this totally desensitised to the disturbing violence (ie my DH) I don't ever want to be able to cope watching stuff like that as it is awful and I don't think anyone should be able to watch it without being totally disturbed...weiord to think though that only 20 minutes of the movie is actually fact...because it is clever you actually believe it all!
I was backpacking for a year as a Pommie in Australia and I think that added to the horror for me - you kinda feel safe in Australia, you nervous and take precautions in Far East and even parts of Europe but Australia well you just don't think about this happening...although I guess anyone who lives in those remote places with little or no contact with women/ other men and I guess it is a harsh life is susceptible to becoming pretty weird...

Wolf Creek was okay...but actually as scary or grusome as I was led to believe. Some of it is predictable, but then some of it isn't, which was kinda cool.
I think there are more CRAP horror flicks than there are good ones...I actually like ones with a bit of a story...not just some random killings by some freak. I don't like not knowing a "reason" for it all (therefore, Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty boring for me - sorry to the fans, so was Jeepers Creepers and the like - so crap).
They're not full-on horrors...but two that I was actually surprised by were Identity and Final Destination. When I saw Final Destination, I didn't even know what it was, but went to the movies anyway. It was surprisingly good for a movie I'd never heard of before. I LOVE the car crash scene in the 2nd one (and they're making a 3rd which is cool). Indentity is pretty cool too...much better than I'd expected. Not really SCARY...just kinda cool.
The Ring was one that freaked me. Samara climbing out of the well with her dead, wet skin grossed me out. Regan from the Exorcist is the same - she's just so disgusting to look at that she freaks me - especially her eyes!
I enjoy Zombie flicks...kinda. I liked Dawn of the Dead just because I think the Zombies are pretty awesome - they're kinda funny and gross at the same time.
Boogeyman is HORRIBLE. Seriously - don't waste your time.
Saw was good...I haven't seen the 2nd yet (DD was only a newborn when it came out so I didn't have a chance to go to the movies)...but I'm waiting to. I like the trivial aspect to it...the tricky techniques are pretty cool.
...
My DP watches any movies...even the obviously DODGY ones. He hires them, and I normally watch them with him (we've rented just about everything at the movies already, so we've only got the crap films and the porn left...and we're not getting the porno!). He hired something called "Ice Queen" the other day...it was SO DODGY. I was explaining the start of it to a friend (every detail...to explain how dodgy it was). It sounded like a PORNO! The acting was terrible, and there was even some bimbo in it, with HUGE FAKE BOOBS. There, of course, was a sex scene involving her...which kinda didn't add much to the storyline...lol. It was just terrible...but kinda fun to laugh at.

There is a final destination 3 coming out!! Jeepers creepers did freak me out a bit.... i like serial killer movie to...My BIL works for a big movie place... making dvd's etc..& he said that when you hire serial killer movie's your actually ment to go on a list. I think that is crazy just cause it interests you doesnt mean your gunna go chop someone up :barf: weird huh. i hate movie's where you can hear the goo...or like when there is a creature or somthing,, that when they move sound gooey like jeepers creepers.
Oh there is also another Omen coming out... cause this year on 6th of june what is it... 666 ..6th day of 6th month of 6th yr...for all you supersticous(sp?) people.

I finally watched The Grudge last night and I was very dissapointed!!!
Until however I was chatting on BUB HUB afterwards and BANG huge Thunder and all the lights went out.... lucky I was on puter (lap top has battery back up) so the room was still lit enough to see... I nearly pooed my pants though for the rest of the night...DH had to go up to the front of the house to get out the Battery lantern and I was like don't leave me alone...it's dark!!!
Then all night I was looking at weird shadows in our bedroom .....candle light is kinda scarey...dunno why!!!
Anyway enough :ecomcity: ....The Grudge + Blackout = VERY SCARY!!!!

I watched Wolf Creek last week. I thought it was good abit gory. Its hard to comprehend there are people out there like that.
I watched Emily Rose last night. Bit boring but freaky. The girl in it is really weird looking! It scared me though. I kept hearing noises and seeing shadows move. I think these kinda ones are scary cos you dont know if its true or not! If there is such things?
OUt of all the scary movies i have ever seen The Ring tops it off. COuldn't get over the fact that it was a video tape killing everyone off and here we were watching a one (before we had a dvd player!).
The Ring 2 was a joke. I mean, we actually laughed all the way through it.

Yes I saw Wolf Creek and I am not travelling till I got my gun licence...lol...
I was totally freaked out. If they hadnt have had John Jarratt to play that part of the killer, it would have been a **** movie. John Jarratt is the local gungallen truck stop attendent on Mcleods daughters, I swear I will never look at him the same way again. The only thing that gave me the S**ts was when that girl had the gun and she let him know she was there, HELLO... I would have just shot him, as if he was gonna let the other girl go. It was so obvious he was gonna get up :banghead: annoying...

I watched Wolf Creek and thought it was a bit too bloody, there are some things they could have left unsaid.
Generally I like horror movies but sometimes have to hide my eyes, lol, I had to in Saw, but the movie was pretty damn good.
I like Saw and Saw II and house of 9 is god too (scarey and has a GREAT twist at the end)

We have Wolf Creek on DVD and we love it. The first time we watched it, the screaming really got to me. And seeing those families on the videos at the end.
John Jarrats laugh cracks me up though, I've never heard anything like it.
The Ring was the scariest movie I've ever seen. I loved it so much I wantt o get it on DVD, but it will scare the you-know-what out of me to watch it again.
I didn't find The Exorcist or the Amityville Horror all that scary to be honest.
