Has anyone else experienced this?

DS has a rash that started on his stomach and nappy area and moved upwards to neck, arms and legs. Not raised but small red flat dots. He was irritable and felt hot (but temp normal?) before the rash and for 24 hours after rash appeared. He was sweating. He was also off his bottle. During this the eczema came up again - just as we had it a mimimal levels:hair:. I am thinking it roseola infantum/ 6th disease but will probably go to doc to check. Does your DC's eczema reappear during times of illness?

TIA

When my kids immune system is down, general colds and flu etc or just run down in general it seems to flair up i find and takes so much longer to heal up as well to! I think that as the bodies fighting the cold etc it tends to neglect the other parts.

Hope it clears up soon its so nasty

DD's is always worse during any illness. Eczema is a condition of the immune system, so that is why.
