Hi everyone - our normally happy little bub has, over the past week, really struggled in terms of being upset, crying and seemingly frustrated for a good portion of his waking hours.

At the moment he is crying and very upset, and we're wondering if at 12 weeks he is going through another develpoment phase that could be contributing to this.

We've noticed he is trying to do new things and seems to be a bit frustrated that he can't do everything he wants. Is this a normal stage or "milestone" at 12 weeks?

He doesn't seem at all ill, is eating generally well and sleeping pretty well at night. We're a bit stumped as to what it might be.

Thanks!

I don't really have any advice but wanted to send you some :hugs: :hugs:

Perhaps it is the beginnings of teething (my bub started getting chewy, grizzly and unsettled at around 11 weeks and cut his 1st tooth through at 14 weeks even though I was told it was too early for teething signs!!!), or he may have a little virus or something that is making him feel a little off.

If it were me I would probably take him to my GP for a check-over just to rule any illness out.

Oh, just another thought - if you are breastfeeding have you eaten anything different that may be upsetting him? Or if you are bottle feeding have you changed formulas or anything at all??

Best of luck, I hope bubs returns to his normal happy self very soon. :hugs:
