Nappy cover for chubba bubba legs

Hi

I am taking the cloth nappy plunge...I will only be able to use terry flats due to cost, but from what I've read a good nappy cover is needed.

Can anyone recommend a PUL or Wool cover that would allow for very chubby thighs? I picked up some cheap PVC to do me till I bought better covers, but the pilchers for her size didn't fit her chubby legs! She can no longer wear huggies for the same reason. I thought maybe the wool ones would be nice and stretchy?

I would opt for more the velcro at the front covers try perhaps the Eenee wraps or the Bummis Supers Whisper Wraps!:D

The slightly less cheap Fluffies covers are better for chubby bubs (my daughter was HUGE!) and if cost is a big consideration, I'd stick with them - I've used them for ages with no probs.........they're not the evil they're made out to be ;) :)

I think every one has what ever works from them.

This is what works for me

I use the terry flats with snappies then the diaper covers over the top.

The diaper covers do up with velcro allowing me to adjust to her leg size.

I have had to find a different way of folding the terry flats because of the diaper covers but all is good now. I use liners tool.

There are no leaks, even over night.
I did some costings and disposables are $11.27/week where as cloth are $2.75/ week.

I know this is an old old thread but I'm having trouble with the same thing. my bub is so very chubby that disposables are no longer suitable as they're made for skinny bubs. They simply don't fit around her thighs!

So, any recommendations for cloth nappies for a very chubby girl?

Hey I'm not sure of what would be suitable as my bub is only 6weeks. I would suggest going on to the cloth nappy forum and posting this question there.
