What Are Peoples Favourites?

Just curious to see what people favour with the extended range of mcn's :D

Cant vote myself yet as I havnt started using mine yet, but I have purchased a bit of everything to see which brands and types I like.

It's hard to say... I use fitteds most so I would of voted for them

Fitted & covers for at home (which is most days!)

Pockets for night

AIO & AI2's for going out

Prefolds/terry flats for when I havn't done the washing! :D

For night we use Krap Katchers which are a MM fleece pocket.

I am really liking
Pockets and terry flats for during the day cos they dry so quickly; and

Fitteds with woolie covers for night time.

I get the feeling i may change to using fitteds with woolies during the day as DS gets bigger cos he's only 12 weeks and is needing both the microfibre inserts in his pocket nappies....

I'm such a dork :doh:, I have been googling for the past 2 weeks on all sorts of nappies and I thought I knew about every single one. Just shows how 6 mths of sleep deprivation screws with your mind :laughing:

Pockets are my fave - it's all we use :)

I use them as is for daytime and boost them with bamboo for nighttime.

but my faves are AI2's and Pockets.

Most of my stash is that.

Although I do like cute fitteds/flats too, especially if I'm at home during a hot day and want to keep Gabby changed as soon as he wets. :thumbsup:

I put AIO's on him during the day, and bamboo fitteds with a wool or PUL cover at night. I voted AIO's though. I do love AI2's but I only have one of those and it certainly does work brilliantly but I only have one of those and I have 15 AIO's so they get my vote.

Hrrmmmz well i do love my AIO's but have to say the drying time annoys the hell outta me lol. So i think pockets are still the winner for me followed closely by fitteds with a cover wool or PUL !

I voted pockets but it would be a combination of allin2s and 1s and pockets now that she is older. Fitteds when she was younger. Now a quick change is a good change!

My stash is mostly made up of pockets and i have fitteds for night. I have a few AIO's but i don't really use them. I like pockets :D

Nothing wrong with a terry flat and a snappi though- Ariene will often have a morning of terry flats without covers if I feel like it :yes:

love ai2s here .. then fitted with woolies then aio.. then pockets

my dd is on a liquid diet so heavy wetter.. ai2s we get super boosted and are quicker to dry ! :)

Well I started using my nappies today :smiliedance:, and have to say out of the 3 I used (pocket, AIO, AI2), I really prefered the pocket and AI2.

Really loving Blueberry's, iish Fly's and Wildchild's :D

I voted Ai2's but would say either AI2's or pockets.
AI1's I find you have to compromise on either drying time or absorbency. I do use monkey doodlez for between bath and bed, as they are so easy and also so quick to dry but wouldn't trust them for long times. With the rubbish weather recently my beloved Honeyboys! and Bubblebubs hardly got used due to the drying time.
I also much prefer snaps than velcro - find them quicker (ie I know where they snap and so know it's right even when she's standing up, rolling around, crawing off etc) and she can't undo them!
Fitteds I find take as long to dry as AI2's and can't face the two pieces with nightmare changing baby, lol.
Though at night use a range of AI0's/pockets (wombots/starrynights/zada) and ones that need a cover (wool shorties) (wild child/gnst/lotus/wrigglebumz minky nights) but that's fine for the one change.

So do think it depends on the age of the baby/time of year/what for as to what my absolute favourite is. And as for choosing between AI2's/Pockets - probably no difference, though AI2's I find slightly easier to put together I guess. But wouldn't choose one of the other for any reason that what goes with what outfit.

I voted fitteds, but I probably prefer AIO pockets now, since I started using a hemp booster with them. The place where I bought them from didn't tell me that microfibre inserts aren't much use on their own, as they tend to have compression leaks :(. Now that I use hemp boosters as well as the microfibre ones, I probably prefer them to the fitteds.

I have to say though that I love my fitteds - both hemp and bamboo - DD is 13mths old now and still wearing size one tots bots!! We are still getting great wear out of them!
