Hi Ladies......im wondering if you could shed any light for me.

Im looking at possibly moving out of Sydney as i currently lease and the owners want to move in. . . however as there is a bit of a RENTAL CRISIS in Sydney its become very expensive. . . .so. . . .now im looking at moving down the south coast way.

Can anyone give me any ideas of some 'nice' places down that way, with no rif raff - so to speak lol.

I think you will find most suburbs have their issues. There are quite a lot of department of housing properties in the area and some 40 years ago they built them in clusters. Some are still DOH but some have since been sold off. Im afraid it really can come down to the street you're looking at.

The whole suburb thing has been a bit heated in the past and I think it really depends on what you are use to and what you are looking for :) If you are looking for something pretty new theres been a big influx of housing estates in recent years and you could look at those.

i think kiama is really nice my brothers been living there for 10 years also shellharbour is nice id stay away from warilla, warrawong there are nice ppl there but more not so nice ppl.
