How many poos a day?

Not sure if this is the correct section but.... my baby is 5 months, breastfed + this week i have also been giving him one teaspoon of baby cereal mixed with breastmilk per day.

Are babies supposed to do atleast one poo a day once they start on solids?

Once they start having decent amounts of actual food, yeah.

It's not the frequency of the poo but the consistency that is important. Some babies (like mine who is 8 months old) do a poo at least once a day but some (like a friend of mine) only once every few days. Some only poo once a week. As long as the poo is nice and soft and not hard then it's okay.
