I've finally started receiving my fluffy mail :smiliedance:, and some of the nappies I have bought have said that they need to be washed 5-6 times before use and they will reach their maximum absorbency after 9-10 washes.

So, my questions are - Should I just wash them 9-10 times to get them at their best or just the 5-6 times? and do I have to let them dry between the initial washes or can I just wash again straight after a wash?

Thanks Ladies

I usually cant wait to use mine so they often only get a few washes beforehand & i just keep an eye on them leaking.

You dont need to dry them inbetween just washing them over is fine.

Also a good tip is that if you have hemp or bamboo inserts you can 'boil' them separately to get them up to their maximum !

I just use them after one initial wash, and just boost if I'm worried about absorbency. We change when she wets, so absorbency doesn't really worry me that much :D
