Cobes and I just went grocery shopping, he's not a very good trolley kid, but today I came prepared with a zip-lock bag full of tiny teddies. Once he discovered these he'd sit down, grabbing my bag shouting "PLEASE!!! TEDDY PLEASE!!!!" :p

ANYWAY, in an effort to stop him eating all the teddies by Aisle 3 I showed him a pretty print on some paper towels "OHhh look Cobes, Butterflies!"
"Ba-ba-fly!" he says... looking in awe.. then he took the (wrapped) towels from me and put them beside him in the seat.... then the weirdo started hugging the paper towels, putting his head on it, wrapping his arms around..
but then he went from weirdo to "do you think I should just pretend he's not mine..".... he started KISSING the paper towels, then patting them... then KISSING THEM AGAIN.

Nut of a child... many a strange look while I tried to say things like "Okay... Aunty Nikki will take the towels now...?" in an effort to make people think I was some innocent baby-sitting Aunty.

What nutty things do your kids do?

  :laughing: that's soo funny..

Children are just too cute. Lloyd is now starting to do a tantrum, but unfortunately he's doing it in a cute way. Example, if I ask him to come out from his room and he doesn't want to do it, he'll run around in circle then throw himself on the ground and lay dead still. I show dh the first time the other day, it was so hard not to laugh because we don't want him to think that tantrum is funny, lol. But it was..:D

That sounds so cute

If i buy BBQ shapes EJ HAS to carry them in the trolley around the supermarket - Last week i got ritz biscuits also so she grabbed them both. Once she has them you cant take them off her easily which isnt good when you get to the register and they need to be scanned. Usually i just grab them quickly at the start and say scan these please and give them back to her before the screams get too loud lol

She also kisses all the little rides in the shopping centre!!

HAHAHA well you know how kissie B is...everything has to be kissed. Every decoration on Mum's Chrissy tree has been kissed - and she only put it up on Sunday!

She loves sitting IN things. Drawers, doll beds, cardboard boxes, her bowl () she can't even fit two feet in it, but she STILL insists in sitting in it!

She puts the handles on my tv unit to facing up instead of down (every single handle) then claps once she's finished.

She puts her crayons away in a Nurofen box, all pointy end down.

She is the biggest nutter I've ever come across!

Me again!

B does this too - but with clothes in shops. If I'm buying one, she has to hold it (mostly cos of the tag) and I do the same thing when it has to be scanned. The instant screams often scare the sales assistants!

haha Cobey's only recently become a kisser.. he's also become quite sweet. I went to his daycare y'day to pick him up and one of the little bubbies was very sad as he wasn't getting his milk quick enough (the carer was in the process of mixing the formula) anyway Cobes, who was in my arms, wanted down.. then he went to Sammy, sat beside him and patted him on the back... awwwww I got all teary... sweet little soul.

Ruby likes to make up new lyrics to songs. The latest is Fighter by Christina Agul.. whatever it is it. She sings her new lyrics out in public very loudly "Thanks for making me wider, bigger, fatter"

Pretty apt considering Christina's waistline at the moment

next nutty thing he did today.
I was drawing things on his chalk board, I drew some oval and he told me it was a "banana".... then proceeded to lick the board.

Are you serious? oh my, Cobes is waaaaay ahead of my little fella!!

Baden doesn't even say "dog" yet. he says something that sounds suspiciously like "shut up!" when he is looking at the dogs though (dunno where he learnt that, heh :o)
 Cobey has learnt a few things from the dogs...
when you say "Jam" (dog's name) he puts on his Farmer's voice..
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABED!" (go to bed)
"DOWN!!!!!!!!"
"DOWN STAIRS!!!!!!!!!"
"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
and... one he likes to pull out at daycare... "GO AWAY!!!" :o

DS has a thing with saying hello and goodbye. When we get to daycare he says hello to the school by standing a cm away from the brickwall and yelling at the top of his voice and waving 'Hi School, Hi School, Hi School'. He keeps on doing this until someone recognises him! Same with Good bye at the end of the day. He also likes to say hello and good bye to everything- the trees, the flowers, the door, other people's cars.

He is also a sweet thing. The other day at daycares christmas party I was late picking him up and they couldn't join the party until a parent picked them up. So when he saw me he bolted to the door to the Christmas party and bowled me over in the process. He came back at 100mp/h and said 'you okay mum', with a rise in his voice on okay? Like how the way I ask him if he falls over. It was so cute. I wanted to pick him up and give him a million kisses but he was off again at 100mp/h once he knew I was ok.
