Hi Renee and congratulations on having a baby. It really depends on the size of your baby when born. You might need some 0000 outfits for your baby (if your baby is smaller) but they usually outgrow this size pretty quick and I found that I got more wear out of 000. In the early days, I mainly used singlets and the bonds towelling suits. I found that the bonds jump suits are small so it might be better to buy 000 in those. I also used t-shirt material jump suits that I bought from Target and some of the fluffy jumpsuits as well depending on the weather. I definitely think all in one jumpsuits are the way to go initially.
I have bought some stuff from ebay and the clothing tends to be a bit mixed. If you stick to the name brands, like osh kosh and pumpkin patch you might have more luck with the quality. I tend to avoid stuff that is described as wash faded as it tends to be quite bad. I have bought some new things from Ebay that have been good.
Hope that helps a bit.

Hi
Maddy was 4.425 kilos (9lb 12 ounces) born and wore 0000 & small 000 in the first month. She grew really quickly and is wearing 00 & 0 already - she is humungous for her age hahaha! I also can't sing the praises of bonds wondersuits enough (Maddy has one on right now). They are smaller sizing than most which is ok. Maddy only wore her 000 for about a week, then she was in 00 for about 2 months, she now wears 0, which are a little looser but that's cool - they are super comfy and the littler sizes have fold over mittens for bubbas little hands at night. I think you can get 0000 in the wondersuit, but dont over buy as they grow so fast its scarey!!!!
Good luck with everything :p

Hi
My daughter was 3.665kg when she was born and she wore 000. They were a little bit too big at first but she grew into them so quickly. I also recommend the bonds wondersuits, they were great but bonds sizes are usually one size smaller than normal sizes.

hi i buy lots of my kids clothes from ebay, but only good quality stuff, you want it to be a bargain but still be nice, whats the point of buying something second hand when you can pay the same price for something new at bestnless? check their feedback and look for stuff that is excellent quality and really good brands or original hand made stuff alot of the baby clothes are in immaculate condition as they have sometimes only been worn once or twice, or not at all! and shopping on ebay is heaps of fun too. good luck!

Hi Iam a regular ebay user GREAT idea have got some wonderful stuff for my little man. Just make sure you read exactly what the item condition is like, I tend just to go for the designer stuff as you know its gonna be good quality. My little man was 7lb 10 oz at birth and he wore 00000 and some 0000 only for a short while good idea to get a few jump suits as they grow so quick good luck with all and take care
hi,
Jack was 3.42kg and 49cm and he wore 0000 in bondsjumpsuits up until 4 weeks. I found that he lived in these and hardly wore any of the cute outfits i had bought. They are far more convenient, easy nappy access, and he wasnt too keen on being "dressed up" so to speak!
He was in 000 bonds jumpsuits up to 8 weeks and he has just started in 00's now. In all the other non-Bonds he still fits 0000, 000 is still a little roomy.
So I'd reccommend Bonds jumpsuits all the way but they are a small fit compared to other brands.
Congratulations and have fun shopping!!

hi
i know there are some really cute clothes out their but i fugure moneys to hard to come across to waist on clothes that fit for such a short amount of time, now dont get me wrong im not saying our babies arent worth it i just think there are other ways of making them look cute and of getting more value for money.
for summer babies :
buy cheap white or coloured singets or little t-shirts you can usually get then for around $3 each at best and less.
babies dont need alot of clothing on hot days and they look so cute in nothing but singlets and a nappie .
little accerioes like cute socks and sun hats dont usually cost that much i avoid anything over $10 .
if they will out grow it before you pay it off then its not a wise buy.
more up market brands often have sales but the prices can still be hugely more expensive than what you can get in kmart ,best and less , etc these stores have cheaper version of whats fashionable .
winter babies are also great you can use hand me downs or mixed maatched clothing in disguise under realy cute wraps .
wraps are easily made with flanellette from spot light usually $3 a meter it only needs to be hemed.
blankets in the pram and on baby carryiers can be a feature rather than the expensive out fits ,blankets are all so great for use in cots in the car and as your baby grows you can spread it out in the park and enjoy all the trees and birds that are free to look at.
parenting can be so hard a real strain on the finacial funds and the emotional ones why not buy the cheaper nappies, jumpsuits and toys and go home with a special bottle of wine ,block of chocolate ,dvd or anything else that will give you and your partner some time together.
your baby will never know he has been dressed in a cheaper version of cool but he will know his mum loves him very much.enjoy while there still bubs it trully does go too quickly

Harry was born 6lbs 6ozs and was in 00000 bonds wondersuits for about a month, then in 0000 for about 2 months and so on. I still use bonds wondersuits for his pj's now, he's in 1 going into 2 now at 13months. I suggest buying the packs of 2 bonds wondersuits in a variety of sizes that way you are covered. Harry lived in his bonds at the beginning. To tired to think of anything else to put him in!!!!!!!
I LOVE ebay. I found great baby clothes on there and maternity ones as well. Like the others said read the description and stick to name brands and you'll be right. It's also a good idea to know the prices in the shops beforehand that way you know if you are getting a bargin or not.
Good luck with your pregnancy, you have chosen a great site to get lots of support.
