Ovulation whilst breastfeeding

I have a baby girl aged 9 months who is still breastfeeding 3 to four times a day, recently dropped to 3 times in the last 2 days. I got my first period last month and decided to get an ovulation kit to see if I was ovulating this month. I went throught 3 kits trying to get a result which came very lightly on and off for days mid cycle, then a strong line came 5 days before my next period was due. It has now been 8 days since then and no period and pregnancy test is negative. Do you think it's too early for a result yet? Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it's possible to get a positive ovulation result and not be ovulating??

Day 13, pregnancy test, two lines means you can ovulate and get pregnant whilst breastfeeding..........:smiliedance: :yelclap: :p
