I've been knitting up a pair of adjustable elastic waist frilly capris for a dear friends gorgeous 19month old daughter. Since this is my first time knitting capris in the round I am really really nervous. Hmm.. okay being nervous might be an understatement there, but yes I am cr@pping myself because I want them to be perfect. Anyone sense a slight touch of perfectionism syndrome or OCPD ? :o *sigh*

Anyhowzers, I'm almost finished :smiliedance:. If all goes to plan they will be finished today then it's onto a small pair (same colours) for my dear friends very much anticipated bub who is due to arrive in less than 2 weeks.

All HONEST opinions and feedback welcomed. Please :D

Phew. Thanks guys. I'm eager to start on the smaller pair to find our how the colour pattern will turn out since it'll be a small circumference.

I had to do a double take on your new username Katie. Then I remembered just how much Jake loves Thomas . I hope my friend likes them :fingerscrossed:

Thanks. Nope no orders, I don't have a cottage license to sell using the LT knits pattern.. yet! BUT.. If you want to supply the wool I can knit you up a pair for nothing.

Thanks again!! :D I'm in love with them. Luckily I'll be knitting Dakota a pair in the same colourway or else I wouldn't be able to part with them.

So here's the end result.

I'm definitely up for that. I need something to keep me sane during the school holidays if you want to do a swap soon.

I think I will start with the aubrey doodlepants. My problem is I have no exciting wool to get me motivated to start!! I am very much looking forward to not having to sew up at the end!

Yeah that is the beauty of knitting in the round, no sewing except when you are grafting the crutch together in kitchener stitch. I find that circular knitting is a lot easier than flat knitting.

Head on over to the Jolly Jumbuck store, Irene has gorgeous colourways and beautiful 12ply bluefaced leicester yarn. It's great to knit with.

Actually come to think of it Irene has taken a break with dying colourways until mid January.. :hissy: Argh what am I to do ?!
