There are still a lot out there using the terry flats but most use them with PUL covers I would suspect.
I still use terry flats sometimes but I put them with a PUL cover because PVC is horrible!

We used those mostly with MJ. BUT pvc pilchers only occasionally, mostly used fluffy ones :D
I use flats and knitted shorties about 90% of the time - I only have a few MCN's. The flats work great for us.

I use them at home a fair bit, generally without a cover, but if I do use a cover, then I use a baby beehinds PUl or a handknitted soaker. I find they are fantastic in the warm weather around the house, nice and cool and frequently changed. I have just dyeda couple purple and tey look great, doing some red and yellow over the next couple of days.

Love terry flats! The Jo Fold is the best by far :D
HATE PVC PILTCHERS!! They are so totally shocking. Thank goodness we don't have to use them anymore! I have a Baby Beehinds PUL cover and plenty of knitteds I made.
But, 99.9% of the time we don't use a cover at all- in summer she just has the nappy and top and I change her as soon as she wets, whether that be after 10 minutes or 2 hours. In a way, using Terry flats (even like this) is the easiest option

I love terry flats, very versatile!
We mostly use knitted covers as they're just so nice for little bottoms, soft and comfy with no elastic around pot bellies.
Or as everyone else said, no cover at all if it's warm enough! Often DS is crawling around in just a flat (bat fold) and legwarmers to protect his knees.

Pookiesausage - Gorgeous nappy ! Thanks for sharing pic.
Might have to start using some of my terry flats I was given from my MIL who kept them from when my dp was a bub!!!!!
Mcn's can get expensive and these are just being wasted otherwise.
Ta ladies
Im a terry flat user to
I use the fluffy covers from target, no covers, PUL covers, knitted covers and have some fleece here to make covers out of as well.
Oh i also use them in pockets.
I mainly use mine around the house.

I use flats with a Baby Beehinds PUL cover and love it!!!
I thought about MCNs but there are too many options and I'm really not decisive enough! I can't even decide which fold I like the mostfor my flats, some days its the kite, others it the Jo!

I'm another lover of terry flats!
It's pretty much all DD wears during the day with no cover for around the house!
I don't use PVC pilchers though, they're horrid! Instead i'll either use a PUL cover like Bummis or hand knitted soakers :)
Yup im a Terry flat user. I find them so easy. I have about 3 mcn but im not really into them. I have some pvc pilchers for emergencies...but i agree they are pretty gross.
The terry flats were huge on tom when he was first born though...took over his whole bottom half!

We used to use terry flats. They are great. I wouldn't use pilchers now I understand wool.
