Hey Ladies

Just wondering when you are going to start buying things for the bub?

Me personally not till after I have my 19 week scan.

Oh well we already have the bassinette, change table, bath, nappy bag, just need tp upgrade to a tandem pram now and grab some unisex clothing. I don't want to find out and I only have pink lol from Ebony in 00 and up as I only just cleared out her baby things days before getting the bfp! oops! LOL

I don't go to clinic until around 14 weeks .. so I wanted to wait until after that before i even put anything big on lay by ..
But most things will be brought after my scan because i want to know what i'm having hehe.

I sold all of Tillis things .. silly me!

Thankfully I'll only need a couple of clothes for bub as I already have everything. Its tradition in our family for mums to buy the first clothings for there daughters bub so mum already bought a unisex 7piece set and some bonds singlets... but I am yet to purchase anything & probably wont until the later stages...

We picked up the car seats from laybuy yesterday, I put them on laybuy the week I found out I was pregnant, jinxing my pregnancy? Maybe, but $$ can be so tight these days and they were on sale for half price, I had to grab em quick.

Pram is next on the list. I have my eye on one.. will go after Xmas and wait for the sales!

We have already started, well we have one bonds suit. My MIL has started the garage sale shopping . I think we are going to buy some more things in the new year, we are going to layby the stuff and then pay them off with the baby bonus. We are going to use DS things for a while until we get all the new stuff. My aunty is lending us a bassinette.

I am not sure about this either. Everyone keeps on telling me to wait due to the risks (and I know that they are right).
What worries me is that by around 20 weeks I am risking not being able to go and do things on my own. I really want to be sensible but dont want to miss out on the joy of preparing for my new arrivals.....Idea's?

My mums first cousin had triplets that were concieved naturally and they're 37 now hehe!
She went to hospital at 16 weeks and was put on full bed rest from then .. she was only a size 8 when she fell pregnant but all her babies were born healthy and at good weights .. unsure how early they were.
Oh and their hospital pictures are just gorgeous.

Hopefully a nice story will help calm your nerves.
