Hi ,
I am just wandering about m/s i am 8 weeks pregnant and i have had nausea eveyday all day except one for the last three weeks.
At first i could find some plain food that would make it feel better for a bit and then it would start again but in the last two days im not wanting to eat anything ,all food seams disgusting to me and even the thought of liquid is horrible but im making myself drink.
I havent actually thrown up yet however i feel like ive been on a couple of wild show rides all day for free and all i want to do is lie down ,
ive also had really sore back neck and i ended up with bad headache last night does this all sound pretty normal at the stage im at .
I also havent told work that i am pregnant yet
but im sure they are a bit sus is there any time
you have to let them know.?
Anyway enough:ecomcity: wishing everyone a great day.
kitty8:smiliedance::tree: merry christmas.

I thankfully didnt really get MS too badly, but when i felt a bit awful, i had some ginger tea and that seemed to settle my stomach.

i had serve morning sickness with the girls. I ate ginger biscuits. You could even try having plain biscuits next to your bed for when you wake up and nibble on one of those..

I know how your feeling... I have been very lucky this pregnancy, m/s hasn't been to bad.

Kitty, you sound asthough you are experiencing the exact same symptoms as me.
Including the sore neck and headaches... weird huh?

No advice, but I will definately be watching this thread!!!! I'm over it already :D

I'm not sure of my dates yet, but would be approximately 7-8 weeks pregnant.

I found it a HUGE help, if when I woke up to go to the toilet in the night I had a sweet drink or something to eat, also snacking on something small every 2 hours during the day.

My MS only escalated when my blood sugar would drop.

Try it. It might work for you too!

good luck with your pregnancies ladies!

the only thing that worked for me was travel sickness bands- they are like big hair bands with plastic studs on them that go on your pressure points on your wrists...

you get them from the chemist for about ten bucks...wear them for about half an hour at a time when you are feeling sick- they work especially well if you are getting the m/s when driving etc..

oh and the blackmores morning sickness tablets worked well for me too.

good luck ladies!

Hi I always found soda water/sparkling mineral water to be of great help with ms, I am around 11wks pregnant at the moment and I have gone off just about every thing, any smell food, perfume, washing powder, cooking smells all make me run to the toilet, I have become very good friends with my toilet lately:yes:. Anyway I hope everyones nausea is becoming easier to handle.

Hi guys,
Have been feeling nauseous constantly for a few days now, got woken up in the night with a headache a couple of nights ago and this morning woke up again with the headache. I threw up for the first time at which point my friends came back with hungry jacks for lunch! ewwwwww! I was wondering if a headache was 'normal' but looks like it is!
I massage points on my wrists (works on the same principle as the sickness bands) works for a bit anyway!
Anyway, in sympathy with everyone and hope you all recover soon.
Ruth

I had morning sickness pretty bad (vomiting every morning and feeling nauseated all day for 26 weeks). I found the only thing that gave me relief was to carry around pieces of fresh sliced ginger wrapped in some plastic. I'd pop a piece in my mouth every morning and suck and chew on it all day, replacing the piece of ginger when it was spent. Even though I was constantly feeling gross, no-one at work guessed. I started telling people at about 14 weeks after one very astute woman asked me if I was okay, thinking I seemed a bit vague lately.

Hi girls

I am pregnant with no 3 and have suffered horrific ms :barf:with each pregnancy. I suffered through it with my girls and took nothing and this time I just had enough and my wonderful obstetrician has put me on Zofran tablets which are my lifesaver!!!!!! I take 1/2 tablet in the morning with my breakfast and within 1/2 hour I am feeling better. I still have slight nausea and find food repulsive but at least I can function normally through the day.

Take it from someone who has suffered, take yourself off to your doctor and have a talk about some medication it's worth it.

Good luck to you all

:)

kitty8- i am almost 20weeks preg and still very nauseas. but i have found if i eat often it passes. as soon as you get up in the morning have some breaky, even if its a peice of toast and a cup of tea. during the day i found that dry ginger ale and water crackers to munch on worked very well.
but that was me... also, if you wake up in the middle of the night, dont hesitate to grab something to eat as it will make you feel better in the morning
:Dhope this helps.

Hello to everyone i have finally got on here to say thankyou for all the great replies,it makes me feel better knowing that so many of you know exactly what im talking about.
I am thirteen weeks on tuesday and still being sick the last two days has been lemonade ice blocks however i did have a few days of actually being able to eat some food it was so great .
I have found that i can only have the same drinks or food a few times and then i cant stand them not even to look at .
The lounge has become my best friend and i have never watched so much television so not like me.
I hope this finds everyone getting even just a few hours nausea relief and once again thankyou for the replies i have taken all on board and just kept changing them around.

Heya!

In the first 3 months of my pregnancy I was really sick although could never throw up!The saviour for me was Aloe Vera Juice (you can buy from health food shop about $17 for a litre).

I had a capful of that first thing in the morning and I would feel better instantly. I was able to eat!! It also keeps you regular :)

Apparently chewing crushed ice is supposed to help.
