What do you think of this? Is it a good one? I don't know much about overlockers...

the description sounds pretty much the same as the standard overlockers from all your major brands. unfortunately i haven't tried that particular brand to know how it handles hemp etc. have you tried it out on nappy fabrics? how much is it?

It's $150, it's brand new (unwanted gift) I think the model is about 18 months old now though. But it hasn't been used.

The RRP at the time was $699

I'm not sure what it would be like on hemp/bamboo.

well, for that price you probably can't go too far wrong ;)
maybe try out the current singer model at a sewing shop for comparison if you can't try out that actual machine?
