Thought I'd start a thread on this as it was getting confusing in the other thread...
The favoured time, date & location for the meet so far is:
The Gallery Cafe in front of Myer Cosmetic entrance
Thursday 16 March 10:30am/ 11am.
Howdy!
I would love to come but I have visitors from interstate and I will be 'entertaining!' Lol! Have a great time though! :p

to tell the truth - i'm REALLY worried about Q. atm! i think i might have to go to the hospital for my own sanity, at least... all is explained in this thread:
Q: Falling on belly @ 27 weeks
http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=14286
as for thursday, i'm not sure if i can make it since i work thursday night... but i can just got to work tired... ;)
& btw i usually use this: http://www.transinfo.qld.gov.au/ when trying to look up public transport info. i don't know much about brisbane myself, so i can't really advise.

just to let u know, i went to the hospital to get checked out, they ended up keeping me overnight for observation (1st time EVER to stay in a hospital!!) & after checking me (or Q. to be precise!) in the morning they said i was fine to go! thank goodness everything's fine! ;) but the doc. said not to go to work tonight or tomorrow night!! & they'll check me again tomorrow just in case...
Take it easy! I'm sure it's all fine. My Ob said you practically need to get hit by a truck to do damage to the bubs, lol! I think he was exaggerating though!
I will try to make this one. How will we/ I know each other? I was at Carindale earlier this week and there were about 10 groups of women with prams at that coffee place?

can i make a suggestion here? last time there was a pink ribbon, but it was a little hard to spot. i came late, so it was a little easier for me - there was a HUGE group of ladies already there :) (tho there was a slightly smaller group nearby & i was wondering which one it could be...)
anyway, my suggestion: if someone prints out a few nice A4 signs saying "bubhub" or the like & sticks them on the back of a couple of chairs or prams so they can be seen by ppl coming from different directions? they can then be used EVERY meet as we are bound to have different/ new people there each time (along with the regulars)...
i'd offer to do the signs, but unfortunately the printer is out of ink & i'm not even sure if i'll be able to attend yet...
hi everyone... how often do you all meet up. im keen to come but living in new zealand until 22nd march. after that id be keen if you do a regular meet.?

It was suggested last time for ALL to have a ribbon (any colour) on your prams or wrists. This would make it easier to ID everyone. I haven't a printer at the moment but would be happy to hand write a sign and leave it on the table for all bubhubbers to see.
Hope to meet you all and pity about the others who can't attend.
KK-sorry :( to hear about your incident with the fall but it sounds like you've bounced back (pardon the pun)! Hope all is well with Li'l Q.
See you all at 10.30am on Thurs (for those who are late...we'll still be there).:fingerscrossed:
But I'm busy this Thursday, have a friend visiting from the Gold Coast.
But you can count me in for the fortnight after that!

Sorry I was a no show ladies, LuLu has chosen this morning to have the longest sleep of her life. I put her down at 9am and she is still asleep, she was up half the night mind you. I think she may be:fingerscrossed: getting her first tooth. Anyway the positive side is I've caught up on all my washing, made muffins, rang an old friend and now I can get online during the day! All this in one morning, Ohh I love a sleeping baby. Hope you all had a lovely morning and I'll see you next time, tommorow night for some I guess.
Dear All
Sorry I was unable to make it today. I had to see my daughter's teacher, and the only time she could see me was 11am. Hope to catch up next time.

Sorry I couldn't make it either the above sounds exactly like my morning. replace LuLu with Luca. Third night in a row he ended up in our bed at 3.30 to play for an hour :banghead: and I decided to let my sleeping baby lie. :) Hope you all had a great morning.

How about next wed (22nd) at the coffee shop - as per Michaels mummy's suggestion. Shopping centres are always a good place to meet at first. That will give a few more people a chance to meet up. Then change location after that.
I, for one, would prefer a park so DS can wiggle about. How about a park setting Wed 29th or Thurs 30th March. Any suggestions for a location??? - Bulimba Park???

Hi all
I cannot make it on Wednesdays either, swim class. Sorry michael's mummy, can we meet any other day that suits you? Mon/Tue/Thurs?
I would love to do the park with those who are keen...how about 9.30am on the Thurs 30 March, as suggested? There is a fenced and sheltered park just behind the Carina library. It is great with a toddler bike track, sand pit and crawling space for the littlies. A few shaded spots for a picnic and byo coffee...

Looking forward to it:)

i think no matter what day it is, someone will have to miss out, so maybe we should get together a list of who's available when & rotate between the most popular days each time, making sure NO ONE is excluded?? & also maybe plan each month (if we stick with the fortnightly plan, that's only 2 outings) ahead so we know not to schedule appointments, etc at those times? or is this being too organised for everyone?!

Yes this is getting confusing. Lets make an official date for meeting at Bulimba Park. Thursdays seem to be a busy day for most. What about Tuesday's? Anyway I can make any day from about 10:30. Lets decide on the same day for each fortnite or month? see you all soon

I'm happy to meet with you at the park behind Carina library at 10.30am, I'm not sure if anyone else is coming though. There is a bit of mixed reactions in this thread and I'm confused. Please email me or post if you wish to meet up...trinhlew@yahoo.com.au.
