So im wondering how many are out there that have toddlers AND babies? Id love ot organise a day to meet up for a nice lunch with you all at hungry jacks in say salisbury or paralowie to let the toddlers play and the babies goo and the mums (or dads) laugh. ive meet a few people and for those who can, maybe youd want to? we can always rotate ie: salisbury, elizabeth, modbury etc and as alot of us are bus bound, wed keep it simple espcially with toddlers.
i dont know how many other parents out there are simple easy and happy to taketheir kids for nuggets once every 2 weeks (best to make it a pay week and even a pay day haha)
tuesday or thursday? put something down and ill PM you. I think it would be great to just see how many of us have perfect kids (ALL OF US!!) becasue i seem to not be able to find any people with toddlers and babies.

 Alarna,

Sounds like a great idea. I've been thinking of the same myself! I personally  HJ's, but that's only due to being partial to good coffee and its availability at McD's McCafe! ;)

Thursday is currently the best day for us, however it might be an idea to rotate from Tue to Thu etc each meet-up so everyone has a chance to come along (if you find that ppl respond with differing preferred days).

the only thing i dont like about maccas is they playground is really quite boring for the older kids. my son is almost 3 and for him trying to play on the maccas play ground around the area is almost impossible.
im happy to organise for everyone to come over here i got a big back yard few toys some baby stuff etc but just until we get to know some ppl.
i prefer maccas food for my son he loves the pasta meal but have you been to the play area at theone in paralowie? its got 4 steps on the ground and 3 things on the wall.

Hi Alarna - Just letting you know I did get your email but I just haven't had a chance to reply, sorry. Hope to get to that later today sometime!

Also this get together sounds like fun, but this post is just a flying visit and I'll get back to you later on that too.

Sorry to rush but we're racing out the door again!!

No, I haven't been to the one in Paralowie, I went to the one in Golden Grove a cpl of weeks ago and it had a fantastic play area (well my 4yo appreciated it ) and comfortable little alcove for the mums to drink their McCuppa's! ;)

I'm not familiar with further North... is there an indoor play cafe somewhere? I know there is one on NE road 'Jack-In-A-Box' but it may be a difficult location for those not driving...

HAHA. I didnt actually go to any antenatal classes, so luckily i didnt watch any of the videos... hehe. I was living at Largs, and the hosp i was going to was flinders. so it was kinda hard going to the classes. hell, going to the normal appointments was hard enough....
