The worst reaction I had from my DS was from the meningococcal shot at 12 months and he was a bit irratable and clingy for the remainder of the day (the shots were at 3pm) and then when he woke up the next morning he was back to his normal self.
But yes, they are usually clingy and / or irratable and cranky for up to 24 hours after injections but it varies between babies.

My ds had his 12 month needles last Friday and he is still irritable, clingy and has really terrible cold symptoms and a nasty cough. Last night he also came out in spots. I was reading up on the side affects and they say that the cold-like symptoms and cough can last for up to 12 days!
I never ever had any problems with my first three kids after immunisations, i never even had to use panadol for fevers.
After every imunisation my littlest ds has had ALL of the symptoms! It's terribly worrying, which is why i kept putting off having him immunised but finally decided to just get it over with...He's over 13 months old now and the nurse even threw in a sly coment about letting him fall behind in his immunisations.
Just give your bubba lots of love, she'll be fine soon:yes:
