Leaving Baby with others????

Hi, who else has left their baby fine with someone else for a few hours (of course felt worried and missed them)? My 4 month old is fine with his Nanny who he sees every 2nd or 3rd day for a while....even though he doesn't sleep too well for her or take his bottle properly for her he's happy enough. My question though is has anyone left their bubs overnight with someone before? I have to leave my little one overnight and until lunchtime the next day with his Nanny and I worry that he won't feed properly or sleep enough....I also wonder if he will get worried and anxious because I am not there. It isn't for another month yet, should I get him used to her some more before I go away, maybe get him to go to her house or something for a few hours one week-end. I know she loves him and he loves her, I just don't want to be worried about him all night long when I go away.

hi when my littlest one was 3 months old my father was dying of cancer & the only person we could get to babysit Emmy was her grandma on her daddy's side she didnt know her well at all but she was fine & she ended up sleeping there for a few nights as we were sleeping at the hospital,and it was not a proper place for a baby anyway, (during the day she was with us)
She has only seen her grandma off & on since then & she had to stay at her grandmas for only 3hrs last week (8 months old now) but she was sooky the whole time. well reading this back i wasnt helpful at all sorry;)

As long as you can trust that she will ring you if there is trouble, and you trust her, GO. Enjoy yourself. You might even surprise yourself and have a great time, and not be worrying about him all night! :D
