Thanks O&GMUM

Is it normal to get really moody? I am on 125 of Puregon once a day (at night) and one spray twice a day of Synarel. The doctor upped the Puregon from 100 yesterday.

This afternoon I experienced headache then my temperature went up but I was not flushing ... my mood is quite irritable and frustrated.

My DH just rang me up to ask me if I was happy with his selection of dinner plan and I just told him I was in a bad mood .... never usuually like this.

Also physically, my breasts larger and my ovaries are aching, tummy swells in the day ....

cheers

Hi all,

Just to let you know my progress. Yesterday was an ordinary day ... I was experiencing lack of concentration, hot HOT flushes, and the bloatedness was unreal. Very irritable .. but once I was home and moving around I felt better....

We were woken at 2.30 am this morning by the Police ... a pony was out on the main road and someone had called it in .... so the police rocked up to my place because they saw ponies in our paddock. It wasnt mine so DH and I were out with the policy from 2.30 am to 3.30, catching the pony and she's now visiting my place waiting for the owners to start searching for her.....

Other than being tired because of the broken sleep, I actually feel alright today and going for 3rd scan tomorrow. I bought a bra awhile ago that turned out to be too big for me .... It fits me really well now... so I still have swollen tummy and massive breats. DH is really happy about that!!!!! Hehehe!!!:yelclap: :smiliedance:

If we get to pick up stage does any one have any idea of when it will occur. Tomorrow is Friday and Monday is a public holiday, so I've got not idea when the doctor will want to perform pick up now????? :ecomcity:

I was made to stay on the drugs for 6 weeks because my cycle fell on public holidays, Easter i think it was. After that I made a point not to do a cycle around holidays again. Good luck.:)

Hi ladies,

Iris - I thought I was experiencing the same problem ... we had the long weekend here last weekend and I was starting to think that we are getting stalled because of that ... but now we have to wait till tomorrow. I'm in Melbourne and we have the Games here. The doctor is doing well - he knows what he's doing. The drugs just put me in a permanent state of frustration.... but he's taking his time so its done right and keeps me from hyper stimulating.

And for all those who want a laugh ... as you probably know I am severely in menapausal state at present ... even so, last night I felt like doing it with my husband. Did all the prep work ... he's already in bed .... by the time I get there, he's snoring and I can't wake him up!!!

Needless to say, I'm somewhat more frustrated this morning!!! :D

Its Thursday, Cindy-Lee I hope its good news .. thinking of you.

Al

Hi all,

Been twice for scans since I last wrote and no growth.

Doctor has put up the dosage now to 250 and I have to go back on Friday.

So used to it all now, its becoming the normal. Probably have withdrawals when I get of these drugs.

23 days on the stims now. I'm catching up to the 6 weeks and Easter is on its way!! he he he...

By the way, tried to do it in a tent the other night but the Synarel has taken over my body and I'm not responding any more .... BY GOD its hard not getting it!!!!!!!

Hello All,

What a relief to find this chatroom!! Background - 38 yo, married 10 years. Have had one stillbirth at 40 weeks( due to undiagnosed gestational diabetes), one ectopic and have now had both tubes removed.

I am in the midst of my 3rd IVF cycle with Dr Graham Tronc and CFC, Brisbane.

Graham has us on puregon 600 daily this time, I am on my seventh day. AT this stage, EPU is set for the 28th.

1st cycle = poor quality eggs?

2nd cycle = Although 5 follicles at final u/s, when EPU was done, Graham said that there was only one follicle remaining and he thinks I may have inadvertently ovulated? Has anyone else ever had this - he says it is unusual. The one egg was successfully fertilised but failed to 'grow' properly ( multinucleated?) and therefore we did not get to the transfer stage.

3rd = This time, I am praying it is more successful. :fingerscrossed:

I am on double the synarel and double the puregon that I was on for the last attempts. I don't want to ovulate my follicles away before EPU this time...how can I ensure this does not happen??

IS THIS MAKING SENSE TO ANYONE? I literally have no one to talk to about this( i.e. someone who has been through it themselves) and am desperate to chat about it.

Graham says it is best to 'hit me hard' with the hormones this time. It sure is hitting me hard - I cannot remember when I didn't have a headache and the tears are flowing constantly.

I have taken the next couple of weeks off work as I am not coping as well this time.

Would love to chat and hear about the experiences of others.

I think Graham and the CFC are brilliant and am puting all of my faith ( and money!!!) into them!
Love to hear from someone - any advice would be gratefully received ( EXCEPT the old 'relax and it will happen ' - have heard that TOO many times from people WITH kids !)

Regards

Sharyn

PS - IVFMummy suggested I try this thread - at least I think shemeant this one? Are you there IVFMummy? I am a little lost in cybersapce!!:

Not everyone gets it... that is what my patient coordinator said... I got mine 3 days after stopping the pill... it may be a normal period and it may just be spotting or light... everyone is different. Hope this helps....

Hello there -

Not sure if i'm doing this correctly. I'm a bit of a novice to chat rooms. My husband & I are going through IVF (hopefully ready to go again soon). I've been checking out this site for a while and thought it may be nice to "talk" to others going through similar circumstances - it feels better to know we are not the only ones.
