Is this a good start?

ok, so I'm very excited about this new venture and for the past 3 days all I have done is looked at all types of mcn and even gone to bed thinking about them :eek:

So, this is what I have so far

2 Cushie Tushie AIO
1 Nappies Covered AIO
2 LouLou's AIO
2 Bumwear pocket nappies
4 Green Kids pocket nappies
1 Rollicking Rascals pocket nappies
3 Blueberry Minky Pocket nappies
4 hemp/terry/fleece/flannel blend Boosters
10 GK Bamboo boosters
2 Bumwear Microfibre Inserts
4 GK Babmboo Inserts

Is this enough? am I missing something? do I need more of something? would you recommend other brands?

I love blueberries - i WAS a fan of the greenkids, but not soo much any more, they are a funny fit on Lochie. Their inserts both bamboo and hemp are fantastic tho.

You will have a nice stash there, but it looks like you are going to have 12 nappies and a cr@p load more inserts?? maybe i didnt add up right??

I guess it depends how often you want to wash...

You have tones of inserts, maybe just a few more nappies if you want to go fulltime & wash everyday??

I have t admit I absolutely love the Blueberry Minkys but I cant get the colours I want or the inserts off any aussie sites, even on the USA site they are sold out of the inserts :thumbsdown:

TJ - wher did you buy your Blueberrys from?

Ok, so I overloaded on boosters then??:doh: Can you use them as inserts as well?? I thought they went inside the nappy like a liner, not a stuffer thing for inside the pocket, did I get that wrong?? if I did, its just more of an excuse to buy more nappies :laughing:

And definately want to use cloth fulltime - how many more would i need?

maybe some bubblebubs? nappylicious (OSFM AIO)? or my current faves - twinklelily (OSFM AIO)? or wildchild day dreamer?

the last two are super absorbent and so trim too!

or i love my BG as a stash filler!

I think you have nearly enough to go fulltime- you can always add over time, no need to rush...there are always nice new nappies around- wait until sales or GDUNH times when there are good sales and lots of stock. It might be good to have a few more inserts as they dry more slowly than the pockets.

What you might need tho are some night nappies if you are using cloth overnight as well. There are lots to choose from- good basic start is a bamboo baby beehinds and wool cover.

ANita - yeah the boosters go in the pocket as well so they are not touching bubs skin - they are just the BOOST the absorbancy of the nappy.
So would be good at night.

I got my blueberry's from the US site, if you order the sized ones, they DO come with inserts - and it still works out cheaper than ordering from an Aussie site.

Baby blossom do have SOME in stock as well, but not many - they however dont have any inserts at the moment either (im waiting on a few grrr)

thanks TJ. Cant hurt to have spare ones I suppose, and I also ordered my Blueberrys from the US. Cost me $102 for 3 one size Minkys and postage which I thought was quite good :thumbsup: and I thought I would just use gk boosters i have as inserts, otherwise the pea pod inserts look good, or if i was patient :laughing:, should just wait for the blueberry inserts to be restocked

beeware - i bought another 4 nappies this morning :o. I have no patience, and knowing me I'll just keep on buying. It is one very addictive addiction.
