Has anyone benefited from reading buddhist philosophy books?

I have started reading one that has really started to help me believe in myself and get the most from life....

I am not a buddhist but i really like their way of life and positive thinking....

I read a great book called "Buddhism for Mothers with Lingering Questions" and really enjoyed it / learned from it. What book are you reading?

I was going to say "no I havn't but I do now remember a book wish I knew what it was called but I used to read parts of it to my brother on his death bed he died of cancer at 30 . But MAN there is some freaky stuff so true what this book was saying when you are near death the experiences that happen!!

What book are you reading 2sweetgirl? I should maybe read some more of Buddist ways!!
