Hey Girls!

Well I am 11.4 weeks pregnant, and I thought my morning sickness was starting to get better, however, this morning I :barf:. I came to work and the ladies noticed I had a rash on my face and neck and one of them said her son had the same looking thing, took him to the doctors and the doctor said because he vomited so hard he burst blood vessels and it take 3-4 days to heal. HOW HORRIBLE! IT LOOKS GROSS!!!!

Any of you girls have the same rash from that? Or am I the only lucky one!? :)

Here's a good one: I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. DH got so drunk on our honeymoon that he spent one morning "driving the porcelain bus" and had the exact same red splotches on his face. It does fade slowly over 3 days or so. Good luck pretty one!!!

Oh hun! I've never heard of that happening. How awful for you! At least if fades in a couple days!!
Thinking of you! Hope the MS eases soon!

ohh i have never heard of that before, how awful.

i would recommend going to the chemist and getting yourself some blackmores morning sickness formula, it is just vitamin B6 and Zingiber (ginger root powder) it has been my life saver with this pregnancy. It only cost about $16 and has 90 tablets.

:hugs: hope you are feeling better soon.

I tried the morning sickness mix with B12 and Gingerroot...it repeated onme something shocking and gave me heart burn. which is weird as I love ginger normally....
But it's worth a try....I have a near whole bottle here if you want it...LOL

I have seen this rash on kids a heap from vomiting. Its not disimilar to the rash that you can get from menigococcal or pneumococcal infections, so is a heart stopper for many inexperienced young Docs or nurses in ER...until you get the history of vomiting and recognise the familiar pattern around the face and neck.

Unfortunately it does take a while to fade, and can be "reinforced" by further vomiting episodes while its there

:hugs:to you. It WILL go!

I am so lucky I just feel sick but haven't actually puked as yet.
Hopefully at 11.4weeks yours will settle soon!:fingerscrossed:
People keep telling me its gets better!!
