Hi everyone

Wondering if anyone else is feeling run off their feet trying to keep up with the Christmas festivities whilst having young children in tow?

I LOVE Christmas and all the atmosphere and parties that go along with it, but this year I notice I am finding it hard to keep up with it all. Getting my 8 month old to nap in the middle of a restaurant in his stroller isn't working too well for us as hard as we try, so lately we end up with an over-tired, over-stimulated crying bub (and one frustrated Mum!). :dizzy: so its really hard to relax and enjoy the party.

How is everyone else going? For those of you with babies, do you feel exhausted trying to keep up with the parties with bubs in tow? I just feel quite drained by it all, which is sad because usually I love the festivities. Thanks for listening.

Ive been doing ok so far with all the Christmas things and being busy. But I had a migraine on Saturday so think its time for me to slow it down a bit. Definitely not easy having a baby and a toddler and getting all the cleaning done, shopping and visiting people.

Totally know what you mean Meegs. Yes the visiting people is huge too when you have a toddler and a baby. You know I have a friend who hardly ever goes anywhere, and if we want to see her we have to go to her house. I really think that's a bit over the top and a little rude too considering we all have children and have to make the effort so why shouldn't she, but sometimes I wonder hmmmmmm - maybe she has the right idea!

Yep, I hear you. We have been flat out lately. With planning for Christmas and the many parties it brings with it. Not to mention the birthdays, DH and his family are all born in December. And with building the house, weve had electrical appointments, tile appointments etc and trying to arrange stuff for work also. It seems that everyone wants a gift for Christmas these days. Collegues, admin staff, secret santas etc. We have been very busy trying to get it all done. Ive sent no christmas cards this year, nor have I written and sent a christmas letter. So much to do, so little time.

Enjoy the festive season and all the best for the New Year
