baking bread

I have a breadmaker from way back and want to have a go at making my own bread more regularly cause I hate the fact that the supermarket brands often have so many preservatives. I dont want to buy one of packaged bread-mixes though. So I was wondering if anyone has a simple recipe for baking bread? Thanks,

do you still have the instruction book with the bread maker. maybe it has some ideas in it. i've actually lost my instruction manual, so can't help you there.

i'm the same as you.....i hate all the additives and preservatives and pesticides ......and well, my house is becoming rather organic now.

try to google it, see wha you can come up with.
