Not sure if that is how you spelling, but has anyone made a table decoration out of these for Christmas?

Someone showed me one you can order on line for like $70! Yikes and it as about 22 balls on it, but wondering if there is a cheaper alternative.

In the past my mum has covered a cone with foil and pinned brightly wrapped chocolates on it, but I was thinking of having something different - could do the same I guess and add some green cut out leaves, or spearmint leaves I guess or add mint Lindt balls

I was going to make one of these for our wedding to go with the coffee as I saw it years ao in a wedding magazine.

All it was was a cardboard cone and I cant remember if it was foil covered or not but I assume it would be. You can use melted down chocolate (make sure to use belguium chocolate for the flavour) and stick them onto the cone until you get to the top.
You can use fresh flowers, sugar flowers, lollies etc to fill in the gaps.
The white chocolate ones would be great for christmas as you would be able to use Christmassy types of colours.

Yummy :D

I made one last year.
I got some of that green stuff that florists stick in the bottom of gift boxes to keep flowers in position. I tried to get a cone shape, but spotlight had run out, so I just got a rectangular shape and made it into a cone myself.
It was probably about 30cm high. You'd be surprised how many Fererro (sp?) you need to cover the damn thing! I ended up buying some of the white ones too, and did a pattern.
I wish I'd taken a photo to show you.
