Hey chicks
Nathan has decided that 4am is his new wake-up time... the last 5 mornings in a row he's woken then, crying. I go in, wrap him, pop his dummy in and resettle him, and sometimes it will get him through until 6am, but yesterday it only bought me another 45 mins before he was awake and standing in his cot... very tired mummy, particularly now that I'm working and can't have a nanna nap in the arvo if I've had an early start... Up until last week he would go to sleep about 7.30-8pm and sleep through until 6-6.30am. We've tried keeping him up a little later (until 9pm) and he still wakes at 4am.
What do you reckon has started this? What's the cause? Any strategies to overcoming it and getting him back into his old sleeping habits? Or how long does this sleeping pattern change go on for?
Thanks.
Sonia
