Pyogenic grnauloma

My DS has one on his upper chest area.

His doctor said the most likely outcome will be surgery. Were getting an opinion from a specialist at the RCH first as I'd like to aviod an operation if possible. He's only 10 months old.

Has anyone had any experience with this before? If so, what was the outcome?

I know my daughter gets granulomas around her peg tube site, steroid cream gets rid of them generally, If that doesn't work then they freeze them off with liquid silver under sedation, don't know if it's the same thing, kinda like a red skin tag
