Since having our new Front Loader I am SURE my nappies seem less white, especially the microfibre inserts which suddenly seem to have a brown tinge to them whereas they were always so white before! I know they use less water but I can't understand why they would do this, as they are supposed to clean better than a top loader. I actually miss my old top loader at the moment. Do you think it's the Front Loader or is it a coincidence, as the nappies are now 6 months old?? Also my BG AIO elastic has suddenly given up, but I also thought front loaders were supposed to be gentler on clothes!!! I am confused:rolleyes:

I tend to think it is probably the water rather than the machine itself. The inserts will not stay white forever so it very much could just be coincidence. As for the elastic in the BG, I think that is coincidence too.

I dont like front loaders i dont think they clean as well as top loaders, my mum found the same.

Your inserts have had a fair bit of use though so could be the water as oscarsmum said i just found my everyday clothes werent clean as they could be so got my old machine back, lol

What Front Loader and Top Loader did you have?

I have a LG front loader (brand new machine in the shed lol) and a Simpson top loader the simpson rocks :)

my clothes and nappies are all so much cleaner in my front loader i think its just the water doing it. Have they been going out in the sun or are you using the dryer?

Always in the sun, we don't own a dryer. I don't want it to be the top loader as I was so excited about getting it and our other clothes seem as clean or cleaner...

but I have to say, punkbaby, our old machine was a Simpson too!!
