ramula cyst or other mouth deformities

hi,

i found strange thing in my son's mouth last night. yippee.. anyway i went to dr hoping to be told i am over reacting and there is nothing there...but i am not and there is something.

i didn't write down what he said ( i am useless) and i just got online and found ramula cysts and that seems possible.

i will describe it for you..under his tongue and behind his gum there is a ridge, almost like a 2nd gum. but it is soft and moveable.

my local gp said it may not be too serious but i should have specialist check it out at some point, no rush though.

it shouldn't cause him too many problems at the moment but may later on when he starts solids and talking.

anyone had any experiences with this type of problem?
