Hi,

My bub is 8mths and still has alot of trouble bringing up wind after his feeds. He can sit independantly and has just started crawling. I thought he wind issues would dissapear by now and that wind was mostly a problem for smaller babies. He gets very distressed but what can i do? after a feed i try to burp him and he will do a little tiny one, then 10 - 15 mins later he will whinge and then might bring up another one, then so on and on untill its time for the next bottle and it starts all over again. Its driving me crazy. He just always seems unhappy. Im exhausted from holding him all the time cos it seems thats the only thing that keeps him quiet. Does anybody else have wind issues with their older bubs??

My little girl is 6 months, fully breast fed and still has wind issues. It is normal for me to put her down to sleep about 1 hour after a feed and she still wakes up screaming with wind up to an hour later.

I have heard people say that breast fed bubs dont need to be burped but my girl does. She had really terrible wind, colic, and sleep issues as a newborn.

She has intolerance to cows milk protein but I dont think that has anything to do with the wind ???

:hugs: Sorry I cant offer you any advice but just want to let you know that your not alone.

Tell me more about the chiropractor as i have heard a few people tell me that they work? My bub has had problems with his wind since newborn & someone told me about the chiro but i just thought he would grow out of it. So does it really work? how long do you have to see one for before it works?

Absolutley they work!! You should have a more settled baby after the first visit. I noticed with the wind side (she was also reflux) that her burps came up easier immediately.

If you can afford it (usually about 35ish dollars a visit) do it!!
