Ezy Nappies

Hi Guys, does anyone know anything about these nappies? My friends cousin bought a whole lot of them, and so far they are pretty smeggin leaky etc. They are putting her off MCN entirely... has anyone tried them, or know what they are made of? The website tells me diddly squat, and I emailed them and they wouldnt tell me anything:shame:

Hrmm, I can't speak from personal experience, but after having a little bit of a read around about these nappies, at a guess, i'd say the reasons for the leaks is because it only ever mentions 'absorbent wadding' which I can only take to mean, that they do infact mean wadding. Which is barely absorbent at all.

After doing quite a few searches, I couldn't find much on these nappies at all, and well let's just say, that if they don't specify what materials are used in the make-up of the nappy, stay away! A good retailer/maker should ALWAYS be more than happy to disclose what materials are in their product.

My thoughts exactly DF.... I just feel so sorry for her though, apparently she bought alot of them (like 24 I think?) It is kind of great for me, cause she is going to pay for me to make her some now, but it is such a bad thing for MCN as a whole. Imagine all the people who try them and think MCN must be useless!

DD is 2 1/2 and she is a average wee-er , i get around 3 hrs , They came with quite a thick pad like booster . I was surprise really because they were so cheap :)

Anywho, Ezynappies are infact a big waste of money. Has she used them all and washed them all, id be returning them. I actually bought 12, even went to the distributor as they were on the coast when i lived there, complained and she was pretty nice, showed me how they worked better, still they aren't that effective as far as MCN's go. And the wadding is just wadding, it's not that absorbent at all. :(

On a side note - how do you find the GK's? Do you like it?

I think the boosters you got are actually extra's Bumble ;) I saw mention of extra boosters for car trips/overnight etc on their website.
Hey Vee! How have you been Hun? How was Joshy's birthday?? We must catch up soon! I assume she has washed and used them all... I have not actually spoken to her, just to Angie (her cousin, who I am friends with) The GK works well, but I am having a love affair with fleece nappies of my own making atm lol. That and woollies again :D We are having the same old problem with Laura and PUL in summer (that on going rashy problem...) How is your wee little enchilada doing?

Yeah PUL in summer would be bad poor Laura. Joshy's bday was great, he was very spoilt. :) All things are going well here, just busy and also tired a lot! lol Should definately catch up again soon, we are going up to the parents on the coast this weekend, but next week have nothing much planned. Should go to the shops and Josh and Laura can run around and be silly! :D

Bummer about your cousin's friend, i think they are a bit useless. Also cause Joshy was only skinny they really only suit chubby bubbies from what i've heard, cause they aren't very adjustable or gather at the sides, so side leakage is a major problem.

Would love to see your own creations! I have been slack and still not using my cloth! Can't be a$$ed stuffing the pockets! lol

Yeah and i aint a fan of GK's much anyways! lol But another lady i met swears by them and she only wants to use GK's and her bubs is 11 weeks old. Each to their own i guess.
