Sorry I don't help with OPK's, just wanted to pass on info that other people have said.. as long as you BD every 2nd day, your chances should be good of getting those two little lines on another test!

BTW, sidenote: how accurate are OPK's? Everyone seems to have trouble with them... Hmm.. sorry, I digress!

I used OPK's for three months with a similar thing happening that you have described for the first two months. I had faint lines leading up to O then when I thought I had O'd I got nothing from then onwards. However in the third month, the lines kept getting darker until there was no mistaking two strong lines. We BD'd that night and the day after and two weeks later we got our BFP!

I suspected that my ovulation was a bit hit and miss due to previous medical issues (hence why I was using OPK's in the first place) so wasn't too suprised that the OPK's didn't show signs of ovulation for the first two months.

Keep at it and try and take the test at the same time each day (and don't drink too much liquid before hand)

Good luck :fingerscrossed:

Hi ladies,

Just want to let you all know that OPKs were a waste for me.

I had only a feint second line everytime I used them. The last cycle I never got a positive and only guessed my O day from my CM. I got a BFP that same cycle.

So I guess it's safe to say don't just base your O day by you OPK it's a good idea to temp or record CM as well.

It depends on the brand you use.

I have been using OPK for 4 months now and the only brand I trust 100% are Discover. Some are really confusing (eg Confirm and this other Ovu one).

I always get rid of my FMU, then test around 11am.

I usually have no 2nd line or a faint line from cd12-15 then on cd16 I have a very dark test line (positive).
