Ever since my milk came in, my right boob has been bigger than the left but in the last week it has become much more noticeable and uncomfortable. It doesn't seem to matter how much DD feeds from that side, it never feels empty and in the last day it has started to feel sore on one side from my armpit to my nipple.
I've tried offering the right breast first at every feed by DD never seems to empty it. I've also tried expressing from it after a feed but even that doesn't seem to relieve the full feeling.
My concern is that by doing both of these things I'm going to end up with hardly any milk in my left boob and just make the right one make more milk and make the problem even worse.
Any advice on what I should do?? I'm so confused!!!

In your case, I would try always starting on the left. The more you start on the right and express from that one side, the more milk it will produce.
I actually had the opposite prob in that the left was bigger than the right so I started all feeds on the right for a few days and it has sorted itself out. Now they are both the same :D
I was the same, I had mastitis in one breast and despite trying to feed more on the left, the right breast always produced more milk. I agree, try and feed more on the left but don't worry too much if one breast is always a little larger while your breastfeeding.

Thanks for the advice, girls. I'll give it a go and :fingerscrossed: it will all be sorted.
I've had such an easy time with breastfeeding up until now - I thought it was supposed to get easier after the first couple of weeks, but I'm finding that I'm questioning myself now a whole lot more than I did in the beginning!!!

Oh, dear - unfortunately you've been creating a vicious and never-ending cycle for yourself. Because breastfeeding is demand and supply - you've been ensuring that your right breast is going to create more milk that your left, by demanding more of it than the left.
Your breasts never really DO 'empty' completely when you're breastfeeding - there is always some milk in reserve, and the more you stimulate it the more it will produce. So by pumping from it after a feed and by getting your DD to suck off it more than the other, you've been stimulating it a heck of a lot more.
I'd stop expressing, and start offering the left first until your supply evens up a bit.
Hope you sort it out soon.
