Hi, my nephew has allergies to peanuts, eggs and he is lactose intolerant and i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas about what i can give him for easter to eat as he cannot have normal chocolate! Is there any chocolate out there for children like this? Also, are there any good websites you can recommend about these type of allergies!! Thank you!!:D

Hi
I know that areo bars contain no traces of nuts or eggs but Im not to sure about the lactose part.....sorry
I dont know where abouts you live but there is a great allergy cake/sweet shop/cafe in sydney called Allerjean cafe they make all sorts of stuff for people with all types of allergies their web site is www.allerjean.com.au
Theres another store in Carlton that also caters for allergies its a health food store not sure of its name but if you checkout www.pinkpages.com.au you can find it.
Hope this helps:)

If you have a $2 shop near your home they sell these really cool egg shaped containers- so you could put a little pressie in it for him! Therefore keeping with the egg theme!!!
Is carob made from lactose??
Or you could try the sugar eggs (great for teeth lol) they sell them at Big W!

My 2 year old has anaphylactic allergy to dairy and eggs. He can have some dark chocolates as they are made with cocoa butter not milk. Also bunny and chick shaped marshmallows. My sister has a tradition of new PJ's for my children for Easter.:chef:
Also search web for food allergies and there is heaps of info.

I was just up at a health food shop today and they had an awsome range of easter stuff!
Im always on the lookout for healthy alternatives (we have some food intolerances).
They had marshmallow bunnies that are sweetened with fruit juice instead of sugar, and they had no lactose and no sugar added easter eggs too.

One of the Lindt dark chocolates has no dairy at all (probably the 70% or 80% cocoa ones). Of course they won't guarantee the peanuts but no confectionary company will I think.
