Hi I may have been exposed to hand foot and mouth from a child today(the mother didnt bother to tell anyone til I saw the sores. I am a bit concerned, should I be?

I'm no expert. But a friend of mine actually caught F&M as an adult. She was told that it is EXTREMELY unusual for adults to do so and was a consequence of how run down she was.

I have no idea if this is correct. But I've never heard of or seen an adult with it!

If you are really worried, go see your Dr!
