Urgent help washing please

I'm so desperate and don't know what to do! My washing machine not washing my clothes properly for some reason. Everytime its finished my clothes got washing powder still on it! Help what can I do?

Mine was doing this a while ago. This is what I tried...
- Using the exact ammount of powder the packet suggests...had to measure coz I was buying stuff that didn't come with a scoop.
- Turning the taps on harder so more water was rinsing them
- Switched to liquid...no probs since I did that :)

Just when I got the powder prob sorted my machine died anyway and I had to buy a new one :rolleyes:

Also check that the water is turned on well enough. Otherwise, you'll have to call in someone to fix it.:(

Hi. Are you using a Fisher Paykel washing machine? We had the same problem. Also clothes started getting black marks on them from the machine. Machine blew up at the start of the year and we now have a new one with no agitator. It is great! Very clean clothes and no more powder/black marks!

Hi!
You could also try and dissolve the powder in some water before putting the clothes in. Just let it run for a minute empty, check if the powder is disssolved and add your clothes then.

How old is the washing machine? Have you still got the manual? If you do, have a read. If not ask the mechanic, if all fail. Maybe you need a new one? :laughing:

Definitely dissolve the powder first. Stops residue.

I always put the powder in the let the water run to disolve it all THEN I put in the clothes. I used to have the same prob- still do if DP does the washing, he always "forgets' to do it like that :rolleyes:

DH always has powder stains all over the clothes whenever he puts a load of washing on. I have told him a million times you need to dissolve the powder first, but he still never does it! I always dissolve the powder in the machine first & never have a problem!

Ps: Liqiud is an even better solution! ;)

Yep i would either dissolve or change to liquid !
But another thing may be that your using too much powder to too much water.
But also check your filters !
My sister used to have this prob when she changed over to a new powder due to not checking how much powder is needed but then she is a basket case & doesnt separate either :eek: :eek:

Oh cool, otherwise I was gonna say pre disolve your powder. Liquid is much easier though! :)
