Eczema or Not???

My three year old but gets a rash mainly on his legs but also on his arms but the rest of his body is absolutely fine. We have had him tested for all types of allergies with no success. Apparently he is allergic to nothing but still has this constant rash. Added to this he does not eat very well so we think it might be some sort of food intolerance but again the tests were negative :mad: .

Sick of asking professionals any feedback welcome :confused:

I have fits when my son starts scratching his legs and little welts come up. I have allergies in my family and it's my worst fear.

We think it's related to heat fluctuations which happened recently when he was very sick with tonsilitis and had woken up from a sleep (he usually wants his socks off for sleeping but this day had fallen asleep on my lap) he woke up hot which I thought was yet another temperature.

After removing his socks, then pants he cooled down and the rash dissappeared.

I'm saying this only as a possibility that you may not have thought of it. It was my partner that bought my attention and told me not to panic about my son, as my partner suffers from heat rashes himself. So I now try not to put myself in a tis, just quietly and encouraginly remove bits of clothing to see what happens.

I hope you do discover what it is. The hardest part for parents is not knowing what they are dealing with.
