What was your reason for relactating

I only just found out you can do this and i am really interested in it. I am just not sure if my DP would be very supportive. We had heaps of problems to start and if i had a breast pump probably would have tried to express to get my supply but i just gave up as it was late at night so just put her on the formula and she went great.

Have you joined the ABA? On their forum (and you don't have to be a member to go to their forum :)) they have a section devoted to relactation. I'm sure you would find lots and lots of help there :yes: :hugs: Good luck :hugs: :hugs:

i would advise going to a Lactation Consultant or call ABA abiut info to re-lactate...most dr's have nooooo idea

my reason for wanting to relactate is that i have always regretted stopping in the first place. i stopped when she was 3 months (long story) and thought it was all over now and have been so sad thinking about "if only i could do it over" for the last 2 months, only to find out that i can :smiliedance: im only on my second day of wanting to seriously relactate and got meds today (peridome prescribed) and the dr and pharmicist said my milk should be back within the week, at around day 3. it all sounds too easy and too good to be true but here's hoping.

i also really crave that closeness with dd, she's not a very cuddly bub and when im feeding her a bottle she wont let me hold her she has to be laying down. she wont let me rock her to sleep either :crying: again, has to be laying down in her cot. i really blame myself for this because i took her much loved boobies away from here in the first place, so really want to make amends
