what wipes do you use?

what are they made of and where did you get them.

sugar shots .. bamboo velour.. with flannell ..omg these are lush :)

You can buy ones that are purpose made-or you can just use face washers. I just have a pile of old face washers and a few muslin squares that I sewed up, and when there is a nappy to be changed, I get the cloth, wet it, and away we go. When I'm done, I just throw it in the dirty nappy bucket and it gets washed with the nappies.

One of the nice things about using cloth nappies and accessories is that you can do it without spending a lot of money. :thumbsup:

I just made some cheap ones out of double sided flannelette.

I have home made flannel, sherpa or bamboo velour ones. But lots of WAHMs stock them as well. Or buy a pack of washers from Big W, they are nice and soft and not expensive.

I bought about 5 packets of the "Little Wishes" brand facewashers in the baby section at woolies/safeway. They work wonderfully. Cheap too.

My grandma made me about 50 wipes that are just double sided flannellette. :thumbsup:

We have some really tragic flannel ones that are on their second child, some face washers and some special bamboo velour/sherpa ones :)

can i ask... with the wipes= do you have a separate pile for faces and hands?
What about when you go out?

Haha I know...she wants to make me more but I dont even use all 50! She asked me how she could learn to make nappies so she could make me some instead of buying them.....I love my granny! :hugs:

Yup, separate ones for bums!

When we are out, I still use the same wipes. I have yet to find myself without water to soak the cloth. When I am done, I just put it in my fleece bag with the dirty nappy. :thumbsup:
