Has anyone had a baby born with torticollis? My son is 8 weeks old and was born with a moderately severe left torticollis. I think it is affecting his feeding and sleeping and he always appears to be in pain :( . This is our first child and hubby and I don't know what to do with ourselves. We don't know what is normal, however he hasn't gained much weight since birth - born 3.978kg and is now 4.55kg (breastfed). He also doesn't sleep much - maybe 4 x 20 minute naps during the day and wakes every 3 hours at night.
We are diligentlly doing the home exercises but it does not seem to be improving. If anyone has any information on this, please let us know because it seems to be hard to find anyone that knows what to do with him. So far, botox injections and surgery have been suggested???
