We got given 10 brand new cloth squares. I figured I may as well give it a go, but I've never really used them before.
How on earth do I fold them for a boy? I found this site...

and the fold for a boy scared the hell out of me lol!
I've bought some nappy pins because the shop didn't have snappys, and I bought just one pair of 'training pants' which I figured could work as a cover. If I find this to work ok, I will buy more, but the shop only had one left.
Also the size is 60cm x 60cm. Will this fit a 12 month old boy?

Have a close look at your training pants. They might be towelling and stuffing and if so, won't be waterproof.

I use terry squares for my big six month old boy (he's over 10kg and 73cm long).

I mostly use the kite fold as it is easy to fold and easy to adjust it to fit any size baby. It's good for poo, however not as absorbent as some other folds.

The Jo is good for absorbency, however my boys poo tended to leak around the legs.

Good luck and have fun experimenting with different folds!!!
