Injured by my baby

Yesterday while at my mums, I was playing with MJ & she fell off the bed :eek: Luckily i caught her - with my face. She landed head first on my nose. My mum & DH both heard the crack :( Ever since my nose, eyes & forehead have been aching. No bruising or swelling luckily but the pain is bad. Even worse when I wipe it or DH or MJ kiss me & touch my nose. Atleast MJ didnt get hurt.

Anything i can do for the pain?

Oh on a lighter note, DH is such a dag. He told me to stay in bed all day tomorrow bf MJ & rest as he heard its good for supply. BUT there's a catch, I am to eat nothing but chocolate. Why you might ask - & I quote

Owwwwi It sounds to me like you could have broken your nose....... my nana broke hers when she walked into a door and we all heard the crack.... perhaps go and see your dr tomorow. Hopefully it wont be any more than internal bruising.

Perhaps you could put a tea towel or small washer in the microwave just to heat it up and then place it on your nose...i know it might be too sensitive to put anything on but the heat will help.

I have been smacked in the nose many a time and i know the pain you mean. but good job catching ur little one:thumbsup:

i'm sure there must be a thread somewhere about silly things partners have said/ done?! that would definitely be one of the funniest i've heard in a long time! it's something i'd expect my little sister to say (she comes out with similar stuff ALL the time!)
