My 3 y.o DD desperately wants a Pinkie Pie for Xmas - the one that talks and spins it's tail  Frankly, I think it's a waste of money, about $100, as I bought DD that Baby Alive for her 2nd birthday and she's hardly played with it.

Does anyone else's child have it? What age is it recommended for? What's your opinion of this toy, was it worth the money??

I have no experience yet with girls toys but I do have a 3yo and I find he does get very attached to his toys - much more than when he was 2 (except ours is Thomas). Can you wait till it comes on sale or try to get it on ebay a bit cheaper.

If I bought a My Little Pony Pinkie Pie, I would be getting it more for myself than DD, so I wouldn't mind if she didn't play with it. lol

Im obsessed with MLP :o... But even I think this is a waste of money, for $100. That being said, dh has bought it as his "gift just from daddy" for christmas....Oh well, I guess if she doesnt like it, we'll take it back lol.

My sister bought DD Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash for her birthday, the both talk but there tails don't spin...so not the same ones, but just as cute...and DD LOVES them, they're her "baby pony's" she sits watching my little pony DVD's feeding her baby pony's.
$100 is pretty expensive isn't it!
