I have been off the pill since July. In that time I have had the withdrawal bleed immediately after stopping and then AF 6 weeks later. My last AF was now 3 1/2 months ago:hair: I went to the Dr and had blood tests. Nothing was really abnormal. I am now getting a bit concerned as I have NEVER had irregular AF, even after stopping the pill twice before to TTC my children. In fact, AF came back regular immediately. Has anyone had a long delay in their AF coming back and what was the outcome? I am starting to get a little down about it.

I'm in the same boat! I'm currently at CD 34 in my first cycle and there is no sign of AF or a BFP so far... would love to know why!

HI,
I have never been on the pill, but I had the Mirana IUD which is hormonal, and when I had it taken out I had withdrawel bleeding and then nothing. I did not O or anything.
The doctors did a lot of test but nothing seemed wrong with me.I didn't have any AF for 54 days which freaked me out.
I started to go back to the gym for the first time in 6 months and wouldn't you know it, 4 days later I got AF and now I am ovulating. They say exercise can help kick start your body in all different ways. Maybe you should try some intense workouts for a couple of days/weeks
hope it helps, and if it doesn't sorry for the rammble.

Thank-you for the replies. I have an expensive treadmill that hasn't had enough of a workout, so maybe I could try the exercise thing. Other than that, I am at a loss as it is now 100+ days. I think a trip back to the Drs is in order as well.

Have you had the problem before?? Have you just changed your pill type?
I have heard of previously so you arent alone. My Aunt and her daughter both have problems with the pill. My aunt ended up giving up on the whole pill because of it and was glad when my Uncle went for the snip. She was on one style of pill for 3 months went off it and didnt get her periods back for 2 years.

No, I have never had a problem like this before and I have been on and off the pill since I was 17 ( I have been on a few different types). I am finding it frustrating because we decided (after quite some time) that we would TTC #3, so I went off the pill thinking it would be quick like the other 2 and low and behold, no AF ( I joke to hubby that it is my punishment for taking so long to decide whether to have more children). I hope I don't go 2 years without AF or I will give up on #3 baby!
