is anyone else on here who has an autistic child in school?
and who has/is going through IEP's.
before i bother going on about it thought id ask if anyone is in a similar situation

My son is going into prep next year (he has been at kindergarten 2 days a week this year). We are at a private school though and not doing the whole IEP thing. Are you having a difficult time with it?

we do the iep every 6 months, March and September. I think they have a new name now though...

nah not so much a difficult time with it, was just my turn and looking to vent.
just get sick of teachers knowing best etc.
best to medicate
best to limit inclusion
best to not aim to high
etc

just annoys me. actually had a win on my iep this time round- which never happens. so im content for now, until the next one of course.
