Hi everyone

I did a search but couldn't find an answer to my question, sooo here is my situation:

I am 25 and we are in our first month of trying to conceive and according to fertility friend, I ovulated on Sunday and I'm pretty sure this was accurate as I had major ovulation pains that day.

Anyway we had only just seriously decided to start trying so imagine our joy when we looked at my chart and realised Sunday was the day!

We bd twice on Sunday and again yesterday and I swear I have symptoms that started yesterday afternoon.

The first very noticible symptom was that I started peeing very frequently from yesterday afternoon onwards, without drinking anymore fluids than usual. I started timing the trips and it has been an average of 30-40 minutes in between, which has continued to today.

I also woke up this morning feeling pretty quesy and had a funny taste in my mouth. I had pinching in my stomach about 15 cm from my belly button yesterday and have some cramps today.

I have also had a LOT of indigestion and have been burping every few minutes, which is pretty strange for me!

AND, my final 'symptom' is the strangest fluttery, tingling in my uterus which is just the most bizarre feeling and makes me feel as if I can't sit still and need to get up (riddled with constipation then diarrehia).

I'm sorry for the long post, but I'm just wondering, has anyone else experienced symptoms immediately after conception like this? I feel very different and pretty confident that I'm right in my feeling but have been reading a lot on the internet (obsessing I know!) and lots of articles say you can't possibly feel anything until implantation........so what are your experiences ladies? I would really appreciate the help!

I have read of some people knowing straight away.

In september i started to get symptoms really early, the peeing a lot, increased smell, tugging feeling in my uterus. I'm pretty sure they started at about 3DPO.

I did turn out to be PG (but miscarried).

:fingerscrossed: hopefully it is a BFP.

I am finding that because i am charting i am noticing every little thing where normally i wouldn't, so if it turns out to be a BFN that might be why? Its all about getting to know your body.

My mum said she always knew that she was pregnant well before she missed a period. So you never know! Personally I had the symptoms about a week before AF, but mistook them for PMS.

Goodluck! :)

I didn't know with my boys but I had pain in my ovaries 2 nights after ovulating which made me think that I might be pg but I didn't find out till day 27.

Hoping you get a BFP! When ARE you going to test? :detective: And you might have mentioned, but how many DPO are you? I am too lazy to check! ;)

Thanks so much for all the replies!

To answer your questions, I am only 2DPO so I'm not planning to test for at least another ten days, and thinking of waiting another two weeks just so that I'm not disappointed with an early inaccurate result...

what do you all think?

Do you know something really funny....my father in law is a gynachologist and my mother in law is a midwife and we were just at their house for dinner and my father in law kept telling my fiance out of nowhere that I have to make sure to eat lots of fish when I'm pregnant!

Haha maybe he can tell!

I think it is possible to get some sort of implantation cramps, etc... but I don't think its possible to get pg symptoms within 24 hours. The sperm has only just met the egg at that stage and is still travelling towards the uterus, it definitely hasn't implanted. So no, I don't think any of the pg type symptoms can really be relevant, sorry :o

But the cramping, tingling, etc could be a good sign :)

Yeah it's very weird, normally if somebody else were in my position and asked my opinion I would probably be reluctant to believe they were pregnant but I really do just have a feeling....and speaking of feelings, feeling pretty :barf:at the moment!

I have an ovulation thermometer that I brought recently and haven't really used it, but I did use it today and my temp was 37.1...is that high? I have no idea what I am supposed to be looking for, I just went and brought one after hearing everyone here talking about 'temping', haha so could somebody please explain the whole temping thing to me and what I am supposed to be looking for over the next week or so???

I would say most likely you are pregnant.... a few days after we concieved... i started getting strange light pains in my uterus and my boobs filled up.... i tested at the end of last week...(thurs) very light positive after 10mins..... so not enough to convince me but i tested again monday and it was a definite :bfp:! So don't test to early or you might get disappointed.

We are due with #3 in August 08 :)

Good luck and :fingerscrossed: for a :bfp: for you.

Morning hopingtosoonbeamummy,

I think you need to have other temps throughout your cycle to be able to make a comparison, but I suggest you look through the pages of fertility friend and see what info you can find there.

Good LUck :fingerscrossed: for your :bfp:
